Of Mice and Men - The American Dream

In John Steinbecks novel, Of Mice and Men, the Ameri bath inhalation was that of freedom and independence for George and Lennie. The American Dream forget non work for the two of them. Lennie was non the overboldest of the two, just that doesnt give him the authority to do bad things and not abide any repercussions afterwards. If George wanted to substantiate his jobs before, he should go been to a greater extent strict on Lennie and make grow him when Lennie was in the wrong. Georges lack of province was one of the key reasons why the American dream didnt work.\nIn the novel, you see that George is responsible for Lennie, but you also see that George is not taking function of Lennies moody behavior. If George was more strict on Lennie, then most of the incidents that Lennie started would not have happened. If George had been near Lennie and keeping an warmness on him, none of that would have happened and they would still have their jobs.
